Friendly staff, delicious meals, beautiful rooms with amazing views. Relaxed atmosphere. Ground floor, loch view room comfortable but a little cluttered with curious mix of furniture. Excellent breakfast, particularly locally smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and kipper. Beautiful location, water views from lounge and dining room. Very good breakfast and enjoyable dinner. Quiet location, undisturbed sleep. Driving directions provided useful. Plenty of parking at rear. Bright and airy room, comfortable bed, better than average dinner, comfortable sitting room. Helpful hostess in contacting local establishments. Beautiful view from room and property setting. A bit of a hike to town but doable. Ample parking for small vehicles.

The hotel is very comfortable in a beautiful setting overlooking Campbeltown Loch. The rooms are beautifully appointed. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service were both excellent.

Great location, stunning views of the bay. Convenient to town, with on-site parking. Spacious, well-equipped junior suite with comfy four-poster bed. Delicious dinner at reasonable prices. Friendly staff, went above and beyond to return forgotten item. Definitely coming back!

Friendly and helpful staff, great views over the Loch, nice large room.
the alarm clock in my room went off at midnight, and there was no heating on for the cold night that I stayed which made for a rather unpleasant experience.

Best aspects of my New Year stay: The location of the hotel was perfect, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. Plus, it was conveniently located near various facilities, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions. Another positive aspect was the room, which was comfortable and equipped with tea and coffee facilities. The ensuite bathroom was modern and had an excellent shower, perfect for refreshing after a day of sightseeing. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
Worst aspects of my New Year stay: Unfortunately, there were a few downsides to my experience.

We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the quirky furniture and furnishings. The staff were helpful and very pleasant. Food was generously portioned. Our room was large with fabulous views over Campbeltown Loch. Very quiet location made the stay relaxing.
Parts of the hotel are still a work in progress .Garden would be prettier without the plastic boxes strewn in rockery. You can drive around the potholes on the driveway.
